The source was first published in Flora of China.
Source of medicinal materials: The whole grass of Pteris yunnanensis, a plant in the family of Brachiaceae.
Latin botanical animal mineral name: Araiostegia yunnanensis (Christ)Copel.[Dauvallia yunnanensis Christ]
Harvesting and storage: Spring and summer harvest, washed, fresh or dried.
Habitat distribution Ecological environment: on rocks under mixed forest on the hillside at an altitude of 1000-1500m.
Resource Distribution: Distributed in Guangxi, Guizhou, Yunnan and other areas.
The original plant height is 40-60cm. Rhizome long and transverse, with petiole base densely covered with dark brown, broad-ovoid scales, margin reddish-brown, peltate. Ye Yuansheng; Petiole 15-30cm long, light green; Leaf blade oblong-ovate, 25 -- 30cm long, 10 -- 15cm wide, apex acuminate, base cuneate, four-pinnately cleft; Pinnae ca. 12 pairs, oblique upward, oblong-lanceolate, ca. 15cm long, 5-6cm wide, base 1 pair of petioles 1.5-2cm long; Pinnules decreasing supernatally, apex acuminate, base oblique, cuneate; Primary pinnae 12-15 pairs, short stalked and very narrowly winged, deltoid lanceolate, base inferior 1 large, base asymmetrical, pinnate deeply divided to very narrowly winged pinnae rachis; Bigyrus pinnules 6-8 pairs, oblong, obtuse, base inferior side decurrent, pinnate; Final segments narrowly sickle-shaped, entire or absent into unequal short segments; Veins bifurcate, with 1 vein per lobe. Sporangia group small, many, dorsal below lobes, borne at apex of short veins on upper side; Cysts cover cup-shaped, grayish brown, entire, upper margin truncate, base rounded.
