The original form
Shrubs, 1-3m tall. Leaves pinnate compound, alternate; Petiole 2-12cm long; Leaflet 5, papery, broadly ovate, 5-7.5cm long, 3.5-5.5cm wide, apex obtuse or acute, base rounded, both surfaces glabrous, margin serrate, petiole absent or 5mm long, terminal petiole ca. 4cm long; 6 pairs of lateral veins. Racemes terminal, 15 -- 20cm long, consisting of several umbels, pedicels ca. 2cm long; Calyx 5-dentate; Petals 5, Stamens 5; Ovary inferior, 5-loculed, style connate into column. Fruit globose, flattened, 5 ribbed.
